Outings, visits and our local community

We also feel it is important to be involved in our local community. We like to visit the local shop, post office and park on a regular basis. The local community support officers also pop in to see us to ensure the children are familiar with them, so we feel safe within our community.

We attend annual trips where all parents/carers and children have the opportunity to spend the day together, we have visited  Chester Zoo, Blue planet, Alice in Wonderland in Telford, Park Hall in Oswestry, Sabrina the Boat in Shrewsbury, Ray’s Farm, Hoo Farm, Theatre Seven, and Monkey Forest in Stoke on Trent.

We also like to invite visitors to come into the pre-school; we have had visits from Red Cross Ambulance service, Oral Health, Fire Engine, Play bus, Police Car, Songs and rhymes from the local library service and most importantly parents/carers come in regularly and play an active role within our pre-school.
